The Presentation of Jesus (often also called "the presentation at the temple") is an event in the early life of Jesus Christ.

The following iconography is associated with this event:

  • Mary, Mother of Jesus giving the Christ Child to Simeon The God Receiver.
  • An old woman (Anna the Prophetess) praying.
  • A pair of turtledoves, normally held by Saint Joseph.
  • A ciborium, often domed.
