Artist tag
The artist tag serves a dual function, to credit both the craftsman, artistan or artist behind behind a work and to cite the culture and relevant time period of a work.
-If the artists or culture/time period have not been cataloged into the booru, by adding artist:artist_name_here whilst tagging then uploading, you will create a new artist tag.
-If the artist is a psuedoanonymous workshop or group, they are to be tagged under the conventionally agreed upon name for the workshop in academia
-If the artist is unknown, they are to be tagged as unknown
-If the artist is unknown to you but does has a name/named group, tag artist_request
-If the culture or time period is unknown, tag artist_request

Copyright tag
-Tag the insititution, musueum and or collection the image is from.
-Tag the photographer if known. If the image is from an institution and the photographer's name is not listed, this is to be ignored.
-Tag your username if you are the photographer

Character tag
-If the art piece includes a known named character from history or mythology, tag them. If unknown, tag character_request
-If a new character tag is needed, tagged character:character_name_here

General tags
-Aim for a minium of ten tags
-Tag as many identifiable details of the art piece as you can (clothing type, weapon type, artistic tropes, etc.)
-Use tagme if you believe the image still requires more tags. Do not use tagme to skip tagging an image whilst uploading.
-Source: Where you found the image, usually a catalog, blog or collection. If uploading via pasting a link, be sure to modify the link as to link to the page or website
hosting the relevant artifact and not directly to the image.
