Polybooru is focused on the cataloging and archiving of historical art and artifacts spanning across time, geographical locations, and cultures. However, to preserve quality and to prevent a flood off topic images, the following things are considered off topic:
- Images of industrialized societies and cultures post industrial revolution
- Modern art pieces, including those based off of or illustrating/reconstructing the past
- Alternative histrory/historical fiction
