Original Commentary

Glass pendant in the form of a frog

Greek, possibly Egyptian
3rd–1st century BCE

Translucent deep turquoise green.
Solid block with hole running lengthwise through body from chest to backside.
Large body with head slightly raised, back legs bent and splayed outward to side of body, front legs projecting forward.
Intact except for proper front left leg; some pinprick bubbles; dulling, pitting, and faint iridescence.
